TNI @ The Festivals
Tourism NI were looking to promote Northern Ireland as a weekend destination for the young & lively market in urban ROI. With our links to both festivals, we suggested a sponsorship and activation at these two new major events. We wanted to create a fun engagement that would be popular with the festival goer, as well as something that would show off the 3 x core NI destinations, and link all to social and digital. A camper-van shaped photo booth is where we started!! ;)
· We negotiated a sponsorship and strong location inside both festivals - close to bar areas so punters would be happy to engage.
· We build a road-trip photo booth that would take you on a virtual journey of NI- through Belfast, Derry & The Giant's Causeway, using green screen technology
. Punters got phyical prints to take home, as well as being able to see and tag their photo on the TNI and festival's social channels
· The use of road-trip signs added a competitive element.
. The process also had a data capture element which allowed us to collect punters e-mails and give them a chance to win a weekend break to one of the destinations.
. Over 4,000 people enjoyed the free, fun experience of going through the TNI Road-trip booth!
